All Gave Some & Some Gave All

If you are an American and enjoy our freedoms today, I hope you get down on your knees and thank our military forces!  I honor every member of the US military and all of its service branches for my freedoms and life today!

As an American and a female business owner, there is never a day that I do not look at our flag and remember the sacrifices so many have made in our lives.

As many of you know – All Gave Some & Some Gave All

As we honor all of our veterans today that gave their lives for our freedom, we send our love, prayers and eternal gratitude for all you have done and continue to do to preserve our freedoms.

Honoring My Father …

My Father (US Army on Right) & His Brother, William (US Navy)

I publicly honor my father, Hewlette J. Feltman.

My father was a World War II hero assigned to the US Army 513th PIR, 17th Airborne Division.  He was one of the first US Army Jump Masters, which at that time was considered the Army’s special forces.

My father, like so many other brave Americans, jumped and were captured in The Battle of the Bulge.  Half of his unit was killed in that jump.  He and the rest of his men were captured and held in a German prisoner of war camp.

My father returned.  Believe me when I tell you this – a large part of his soul, psyche and mental health remained behind in that French forest and German POW camp.

Daddy’s gone now.  Lastly, when I asked him what were his feelings towards the Germans he had fought, he simply answered, “Just like us, they were starving.”  I guess that about says it all.

When you see an active member or a veteran of our armed services, I pray you and our entire country remembers to thank them.
